International Organization for Standardization
In October 2009 the company was awarded with the international standard of quality ISO9001:2008 for all the procedures relating to the donation, procurement, testing, processing, preservation, storage and distribution of human tissues and cells with certificate number QS 1.09.042.

American Association of Blood Banks
LifeBank is affiliated to the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). In addition, the company’s scientific staff is included in the list of members of the asscociation. AABB is an international organization of blood banks, which includes hospitals, community and private blood banks, transplantation centres and research centres. AABB is internationally accepted with members in over 80 countries (www.aabb.org).

Lifebank participates in the international quality community of IQNet
After The Cyprus Certification Company (CCC) was accepted as a full member of The International Quality Network of IQNet, Lifebank being a company accredited by The Cyprus Certification Company, has been included in the international quality community of IQNet.
This international network is active since 1990, with 36 accreditation bodies as partner members and more than 200 associates worldwide. With the headquarters being situated in Switzerland, IQNet’s partner members and associates have accredited more than 310.000 businesses in more than 150 countries, a number that sums up to 30% of all accreditations performed in the world so far.
