Lifebank is happy to announce the first public banking of cord blood in Cyprus. We successfully collected and stored cord blood that was donated by a Cypriot family at the Chaim Sheba Medical Centre in Israel (www.sheba.co.il).

The Chaim Sheba Medical Centre is part of the Tel Hashomer Hospital and is a member of the international cord blood networks of EUROCORD and NETCORD

Lifebank's ongoing cooperation with the Chaim Sheba Medical Centre, makes it possible to offer this service to any family that wishes to donate their cord blood to a public bank for use by anyone who needs it around the world, including other Cypriot families.
