Training of Lifebank's technical support team at The Netherlands | 21/02/2011
During the second week of February Lifebank’s technical team participated at a training seminar that took place at the town of Son in The Netherlands.
The five days seminar, with the title maintenance engineer training, was organized by Stirling Cryogenics. Stirling has supplied Lifebank with the liquid nitrogen production unit that has been in operation in Lifebank’s headquarters for the last three years.
The unit is part of Lifebank’s medical gases division and supplies the company with those quantities of liquid nitrogen needed for the cryopreservation and long term storage of the samples that the company holds in its cryobank facilities.
The training has given an in-depth knowledge to Lifebank’s technical team of the unit’s maintenance and operation. In this way any problems that might appear during the unit’s operation are resolved in the most efficient and immediate way by Lifebank’s own personnel.
