Lifebank’s laboratory and storage facilities are located in Cyprus in the town of Pafos. The company’s premises comply with all health and safety standards set by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus and the European Union.
Lifebank’s facilities are the property of the company and cover more than 550 square meters of office and laboratory areas. The laboratories where the samples are being processed and cryopreserved are based underground in a basement area for the maximum isolation and protection from elements of nature, high temperatures and external influences.
As part of the commitment for continuous improvement and client satisfaction, the company organizes tours at its main facilities in order for the parents and the collaborators of Lifebank to experience at first hand the high level of the company’s professionalism and quality of services.
The laboratories where the samples are processed as well as the storage facilities are housed in areas that are equipped with the latest climate and environment control systems. This provides ideal conditions for the processing and storage of stem cells, by regulating temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure.
The premises feature multiple levels of security which include access control systems with entry codes, alarms and security systems for safety monitoring.
The company’s premises are covered by a generator in order to provide safety and coverage in case of a power failure making sure that the facilities and the samples stored are not at risk if a power failures occurs.
